Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A good starting point I bought this in order to start a side business in a creative field. The book was a great starting point to understand what needs to be done before jumping in, but it is US-based and focused so do not count on the legal/taxes/related chapters if you are canadian. The book itself has good nuggets to take away, but also has a lot of extra writing that could have been taken out. It is great to start making a plan of what to do to move forward, but it is not a business guide, marketing plan, or legal/business information wealthy. A quick an easy read, although it is written by women for women, even the pronouns used are "her business", "her and her husband", "female-boss", to name a few.
