Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hard cover makes it easy to carry around Like what other reviews said, the pages already have a color them. In other words, the outlines and a part of the background are printed in colors. This makes it an easy and effortless coloring book. Might not be good for everyone though..

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Would rather color all myself Not too keen on this one. Was a present and would rather have me color pages than them already have them done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these books I own every Art/Colour/Creative Therapy book there is and they're all great. Most of the pages have a thing or two coloured in, sometimes more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for colouring with the kids! My boys and I LOVE to colour, but simple cartoon colouring book pages were getting boring real fast. I looked at many different adult colouring books before choosing this one and am SO glad I did! I love the variety of images, that some are 2 pages wide, and how the pre-filled backgrounds on some pages allow you to focus on the main image. Now I can sit and colour beside my kids for hours without getting bored.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Incredibly detailed, stunning images This is a really beautiful book and well worth the price. You can easily spend days on a single image, even spending hours at a time colouring. Also neat that there's a 'colouring' section and a 'doodling' section. For those of us who can hardly doodle, much less draw, it's nice to have the detail already there, and for those with more artistic talent, it's nice to have the freedom to insert your own detail. The one major drawback, as others have said, is that it doesn't open flat, which makes it difficult to colour along the spine, especially where images go over two pages. I don't know what the binders were thinking. Not a major issue, but a design consideration for the next printing. Also, markers like Precision Sharpies NOT recommended - THEY WILL bleed through. If you want to use those, best to take a photocopy and colour that in instead (and it's just nice to have more than one go at each image). No surprise that pencil crayons work just fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREATEST COLOURING BOOK EVER As a person with chronic pain, this is the PERFECT distraction and relaxation resource. I love this even more than the Secret Garden, Animal Kingdom and the other more popular colouring books. Trust me, I spent more than half an hour at the store trying to pick a colouring book out, and I KNOW that I made the right choice choosing this. I know the cover of this doesn't seem as appealing as those on the other colouring books, but man the pages inside are just breath taking. Words cannot express how much I love this colouring book and how much it helps me when I am in pain. I HIGHLY recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love, love, love this! I bought this about a month ago. I was having trouble sleeping and suffer from anxiety. Since starting a nightly routine of colouring one hour before bed, I find that falling asleep is easier. Who knew that colouring as an adult would be so beneficial? I love the intricate designs to colour as well as the section where you can doodle the designs of your liking. Overall, it's a great book!
