I, Geronimo Stilton, have a lot of mouse friends, but none as spooky as my friend CREEPELLA VON CACKLEFUR! She is an enchanting and MYSTERIOUS mouse with a pet bat named Bitewing. Creepella lives in a CEMETERY, sleeps in a marble sarcophagus, and drives a hearse. She is also a special effects and set designer for SCARY FILMS. Her father, Boris von Cacklefur, runs the funeral home Fabumouse Funerals. The von Cacklefur family owns the CREEPY Cacklefur Castle, which sits on top of a skull-shaped mountain in the Valley of the Vain Vampires.

YIKES! I'm a real 'fraidy mouse, but even I think Creepella and her family are AWFULLY fascinating. Now Creepella has her very own series of books written by yours truly... Geronimo Stilton! I can't wait for you to read these fa-mouse-ly funny and SPECTACULARLY SPOOKY tales!

Creepella von Cacklefur and her niece, Shivereen, visit scary Squeakspeare Mansion, where they meet Bobby Squeakspeare, a descendent of the famourse writer, William Squeakspeare. Will the spooly rooms and ghosts they find inside the mansion be friendly-or frightening?

GERONIMO STILTON is the publisher of The Rodent's Gazette, Mouse Island's most famouse newspaper. He is Rattus Emeritus of Mousomorphic Literature and Neo-Ratonic Comparative Philosophy. In his spare time, Mr. Stilton enjoys collecting antique cheese rinds, playing golf, and telling stories to his nephew Benjamin. He lives in New Mouse...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great book to read I read this book a week ago and I thought that it was one of the most adventurous and interesting book yet in the Geronimo Stilton series. It's a great book because the concept of this book is really amazing. The part I liked best about it was how they explain every part of the book clearly and the words are very easy to understand. I gave this book four out of five stars because it could've been more interesting if the had a few more chapters and characters in the book. This book is about how Creepela Von Cacklefur;a journalist, who wants to interview the thirteen ghosts that live in Cacklefur Castle, but what she doesn't know is that an adventure waits for her. Will she be able to find all of the thirteen ghosts? Will she able to get the information that she wants? How is she going to find all of the ghosts? These are just some of the questions that I asked myself when I first saw the cover of the book. I would recommend this book for ages 8-13 because it seems like a good book for those ages. This book keeps u curious after every chapter you read and it's a good book to read when you are in bed or travelling. It's a long/short book. I think everyone should read it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good! But not what we expected My boys are 6 ... book is not really suitable for them. Book was written more for pre-teens/young teenagers. Also, I thought the main character in the book was going to be Geronimo Stilton however, it's not ... It's Creepela Van Cacklefur. My boys enjoy the Geronimo Stilton cartoons however, had no clue who Creepela was. They liked the Halloween aspect of the book however.
