Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loved it If you're a fan of the D&D show, Critical Role, this book is definitely for you. If you've been on the fence about getting it, and you're a fan, do it. If you are a fan of D&D and not Critical Role (heck if you haven't even heard of the show), I still recommend this book if you're looking for a new campaign setting to run games in. I know many GMs out there may be sick of running in Greyhawk, or Forgotten Realms. Maybe Ebberon isn't for you. At the same time you might be a GM who just doesn't have the time to create your own whole new setting from scratch. This book is a perfect supplement. It gives you just enough to run an adaptable campaign in a setting different than those that your players might be used to. The book contains just enough lore to understand the setting while allowing for a lot of flexibility and customization to the world if you so choose. The book gives you all the tools you need to introduce things like new feats, monsters, and even setting-appropriate backgrounds. The book gives useable information on how to customise existing D&D 5E content to make it make sense to the current setting, and even offers variant rules for running the game. The art and layout of the book are stunning and the content is easy to follow. I definitely recommend this book to any DM, regardless of if you are a fan of Critical Role, as it is a great setting to play and run a game in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Is it Thursday yet? If you are a fan of Critical Role then this supplement is for you. Beautifully detailed images and stories for the continent of Tal'Dorei in Matthew Mercer's world of Xanadria. This book contains material for players and DMs alike if you want to run your own Critical Role campaign, or even if you want to incorporate items into your own homebrew. With some new custom monsters created by Matthew Mercer, you'll be asking your players: How do you want to do this?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Great book to pick up if you like new worlds in D&D, especially if you enjoy, and follow Critical Role. It's an inside look at everything they encounter, magical items, organizations, etc. The poster-sized map is also beautiful. Worth the pick up.
