Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong Female Lead Anne McCaffrey is one of my favourite authors. She is so well known for her dragons, that this series can be overlooked. It is awesome though! Who would have thought that I'd ever get into a book about a woman who goes mining. You heard me... mining! Try it out. It's worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Story This is a guaranteed repeat read. I have read and re-read this book, as the story adds something new each time I read it. Anne has always been my favorite author, but this story/series has to be my absolute all time favorite. At the end, you'll be disappointed the story is over. It starts with a bang, and never lets you go.
