Rated 5 out of 5 by from Read This Book! NOW! I really loved this book when I read it with my grade 6 class. There are soooo many cliffhangers and a lot of foreshadowing at the end of chapters. I really like how Geoffrey Trease makes the whole book so suspensful and mysterious... read this book for yourself and I hope that you enjoy it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A history book far from boring An amazingly intricate plot with authentic characters. A window into the Shakespearian era of 16th century England. Full of adventure, villainy and deception yet a seemingly playful plot. A history book far from boring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cue for Treason I read this book very fast because i could not put it down. It was so interesting to learn about old England and see all the old England towns which are now in Canada (Keswick). A book any history fan would enjoy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cue for Treason Cue for Treason is a great book which is filled with constant suspence. Its only fault, (which isn't really a fault) is the constant cliffhangers which get somewhat irritating. I read this book when I was in grade 7, though I think this is a book that can be engoyed by almost any age group, young and old.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cue For Treason This book is really good. It's very interesting and you are always wondering what's going to happen next. Its a real page turner. The suspense is great. What I also like about this book is that you learn more about the life in those days. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves to read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The One, The Only I am only 16 years old and in grade 11. I read this book in grade 9 in English class and i aoutomatically loved it. It is an amazing novel. Many of the kids in my class hated this book, they had better things to do than read a book. I couldnt understand how somebody couldn't enjoy an adventure such as this. After i read the book, i realized that i had the book at home, sitting on our old book shelf. Now, the book is in my room, and i often read a bit mainly because most of the novel is adventurous and i find it interesting once again. This book has been my all-time favorite. Another book that i really enjoy is The Power Of One by Bryce Courtenay. I enjoy those type of novels that make you almost sad to finish. Well, anyways, A Cue For Treason is an interesting, exciting, up-beat and historical novel that is the best I have read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cue For Treason I absolutely adore this book, being an avid reader I've come accross many a book good and bad. The story alone is interesting itself but the fact that it is a true story really make it interesting because it makes you realize how real this stuff is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cue For Treason: an excellent book This book combines suspense with old english tales. It is awsome to learn how people live in Shakespere's time and how women were treated. This book is one of the best I've read. It is amazing How Kit fooled the acting companies into thinking she was a boy. I would recomend this book to anyone who like to read about olde england and Shakesperes time. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cue for Treason I've read the comments of the others critics and am disapointed in their comments. This book was read by me when I was in grade 10, about 30 years ago. I loved it then as I love it now. I got my daughter to read it one day that she was bored and someone at school stole the book from her. What made her mad at the time was that she was getting into the story. I'm planning to buy it again and give it to her as a gift. The adventure was writen with the young in mind. Those with a sense of adventure and who are not afraid of expanding their minds with things other than drugs. I love it then and love it now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT This book was compelling and as every page turned was intersting.. from where Kit was discoved as a very promising actor, to play as roles a girls tot he end, wich was the best you could ask for, this was very exciting, for I thought I was pete, seeing kit as a friend and finding out some special secrets, they became Spies, lost a friend. Became actors for Shasksphere. Travelled and escaped for many dangers, this book was intersting and reccomended for all ages, With many supirses, you'll never know what is holds on the next page...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cue for Losers! This book wasn't as great as I thought it would be. Cue for Treason is a long and drawn-out tale of a boy who becomes a secret agent. However, the author could have/should have knocked about 50 pages off of it. As a grade-8 student who loves reading, I found this book dissapointing.-Shanky Sharma

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cue For Treason My English teacher gave me this book because she said it was interesting. At first I thought it was a little slow, but I gave it a chance and it turned out to be one of the best books I've ever read. I enjoyed the extremely fast paced action in which the plot unravels. I also thought it was interesting how they figured out who was part of the conspiracy. I thought it gave a real description of the times. It also was good because I didnt' have to do the questions at the back, it was just for fun reading.
