Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Wild Long Ride of a Novel! The book may be long but it reads quick. The reading is crisp, humourous, intense and the characters all fascinating. The movie adaptation does not hold muster to the book. Stephen King takes us on a wild ride of a tale when a massive alien spacecraft is found deep in the woods of Haven, Maine. The effects on the residents and the outside world will have you losing nights of sleep as you keep reading into the wee hours. One of King's better novels as it is apparent that the maestro of horror had a lot fun writing this book. You will never look at the colour green quite the same way again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tommyknockers is great I loved this book and I couldn't put it down. Although parts of it were a bit confusing. I got lost and had to re-read parts but all in all it was a great book. Everyone should read it!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The TommyKnockers, not one of King's best Although I enjoyed this novel by Stephen this is not one of his most favorable novels. It could not be compared to many of his other books. But all the same the story line was just as expected. Scary and suspenseful. I would recomend this book to first time King readers because it's just a taste of what is to come if you continue reading novels from King. This was one of my first Stephen King novels and at the time before I was deeply into his work it seemed excellent.
