It was time, when my daily duty was to sit near this ferryghat, my boyhood day’s partner. It was on the third bank of an ever flowing river, ‘Kathajodi’. Whenever I sit on a small stone near it, sometimes I look at the sky; think and see the vast chest of the sky, the wide lap of earth. Wild waves rise on the river, within an eyewink they touch banks, but they can’t touch the other end of this earth, and at the other moment the river becomes silent, mute. Meet the ‘Stream gauge pole!’

Suwa Bai was the only daughter of Kishorimal amongst her four brothers. As the children grew up Kishorimal found a bridegroom for Suwa Bai and wives for his sons. All the children were happily married and he was at peace. Then Kishorimal passed away leaving behind huge agriculture lands for his sons and few old ornaments for Suwa Bai. Sukkhi Bai, his wife lived few days in grief and died soon after his demise. What happened next, beneath the ‘Moon Rays?’

“How much we need to communicate with the entire human family across the borders of space and time! Yes, our very souls refuse to be caged, throughout our life here on earth, within the confines of our own time and place. So, come, let’s enjoy walking with souls we have long wished to visit and converse with sharing their life’s journeys, their challenges and victories! This is to enjoy living eternity in the here and now. (Notice: What a soul says throughout this writing is what was actually said and not out of imagination).” These words of the remarkable Dr George Onsy are available right here in this book!

Crammed in the launch, like a bunch of sardines, ready to be served for lunch to the hungry German soldiers that awaited us on the beach!

Lying on his death bed, Jack requested his sister Macy to find the woman who had given them up for adoption as children. Macy honored her brother’s request, but what happened next? A surprising turn of events followed this quest!

There are many like Jimmy boy who roam this world in the guise of human Gods. They are largely commoners who are cushioned in their own worlds of abundance until the time they connect with the ‘other.’ It is this connection that raptures their comfort and makes them stretch out to other worlds with a generosity that would make the heavens jealous.

Some twenty five years ago an infant was kidnapped. But the kidnappers plan was flawed, and they left the nine month old child in the woods and fled the scene. When a thorough search was going on in every nook and corner of Shanthigram, the yelling infant crawled over the wet dry leaves…

The late Brian Connell has some interesting encounters with the large beastly Rhinos and other animals that he sets out to save from extinction.
