Tony Hsieh became involved with Zappos as an advisor and investor in 1999, about two months after the company was founded. He eventually joined Zappos full time in 2000.Under his leadership, Zappos has grown gross merchandise sales from $1.6M in 2000 to over $1 billion in 2008 by focusing relentlessly on customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best books about business, and personal happiness, I've ever read. I like that Tony Hsieh is so straight forward about what he writes. It makes it easy to follow the story of his founding Link Exchange and then running Zappos. This isn't a groundbreaking book and the existential stuff at the end is a bit overkill for a book like this, but I appreciate the intent and I think all in all this is a great story of a entrepreneurial hustler that had some good team building habits.
