Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Diary of a Spider I ordered this book for my grand daughter on spec because the description sounded good and it was a Heather's Pick . I'm disappointed with the prominence of US flags, references to the Pledge of Allegiance, illustrations of George Washington, and worst of all, a soldier complete with grenades on his belt. I prefer to purchase books that are more culturally neutral unless they are designed to specifically present cultural issues or awareness. Unfotunately, it will cost me almost as much as I paid for the book to return it.
