Doing Rude Things: The History of the British Sex Film was first published in 1992. It was the first serious study of British soft porn, and it was highly influential. It was filmed by BBC TV in 1995 and led to the film seasons, video releases and blogs on the subject that have continued to the present day. David McGillivray has been a writer, producer and performer for radio, television, stage and screen since 1964.
