Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great series! This is a wonderful bridge series for kids who are ready to move beyond Early Readers, but maybe not quite ready for full chapter books. It's short and broken up with pictures, and there's some great adventure to keep kids interested.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Series After finding books 1 and 7 at a scholastic book fair we had no choice but to hunt down books 2-6 as my daughter who never really wanted to read for fun just wanted to be left alone to read!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't put the book down My son actually requests an earlier bed time so we can get through the entire book. He's not yet reading so this is a great way for us to cuddle in bed and read together. The story takes you on a magical journey which he loves while also in a subtle way brings in the notion of greed and good vs evil. Really loved this 2nd book in the series. I find it keeps my attention as well, I must confess hes not the only one who wants to find out what happens next.
