The spellbinding Dream-Hunter series continues!

Hades doesn't often give second chances...

Xypher has one month on Earth to redeem himself through one good deed or be condemned to eternal torture in Tarturus. But redemption means little to a demigod who only wants vengeance on the one who caused his downfall.

Until one day in a cemetery...

Simone Dubois is a medical examiner with a real knack for the job. Those who are wrongfully killed appear to her and help her find the evidence the police need to convict their killers. But when a man appears and tells her that she's more than just a psychic, she's convinced he's insane.

Now the fate of the world hangs in her hands...

It was bad enough when just the dead relied on her. Now's there's the seductive Dream-Hunter Xypher who needs Simone's help in opening a portal to the Atlantean hell realm to fight insatiable demons. The future of mankind is at stake-and so is her life. The only question now is: Who is the bigger threat: the demons out to kill her, or the man who has left her forever changed?

"Brisk, ironic, sexy, and relentlessly imaginative."-Boston Globe

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Interesting... Lots of twists and turns in this one. Xypher, slave to a Daimon, is life bound to a human woman named Simone, a medical examiner who can see and commune with ghosts. They get more than a few feet apart, Simone dies, Xypher dies. So these two are stuck together with Simone's pet ghost, with only one week to complete their goals before Xypher is sent back to his master, killing Simone and killing him. Unbeknownst to all involved however, Simone as a dirty little secret of her own that just might be able to turn the tide in their favor. I really enjoyed all the little odds and ends Kenyon put in this one. It doesn't really follow the formula of the other Dark Hunter books, which is quite refreshing. Enjoy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better Than The Last I'm very happy that we are back to the regular books to the series and not a novella type book cause even though Upon The Midnight Clear was okay I prefer more storyline and everything. I really liked Dream Chaser I enjoyed the characters and I'm happy with how things turned out, I also really liked Simone's character she was very interesting and different, oh and Jesse was really funny. Overall great book and now I can finally read Ash's book yaaaaa. :0)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great read I love these characters! My heart wept for them at times, then I was laughing so hard I cried. This is a good book because its really interesting, the plot is involved without being complicated. And the characters are relatable and funny. It was a great read in my opinion.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ah to dance with the Demon! Xypher is on a month’s reprieve from hell for good behaviour, but he is looking to get his revenge on the women that put him there. Satara is afraid that he will do just that and has Xypher connected through enchanted armbands to mortal women. Xypher and Simone have to stay within a few feet of each other at all times or they both die. Further is one dies they both do. Xypher can’t die, but Simone is just a human. Simone has almost no one in the world except for Jesse a ghost that keeps her company. Simone has always be able to see things that no one else could, and she is trying to use that gift to keep New Orleans safe from the hide paranormal world that most don’t know exists. With her new “friend” Xypher, Simone finds that she is attracted to him but he is cold arrogant and just mean. The more time they spend together the more Xypher finds himself attracted to Simone, but since it was a women that got him into hell, literally, he finds it hard to believe that people can be good. The two have to battle their inner demons and the ones that are coming to kill them. This was good instalment of the Dark-Hunter series, but not the best. I think that this was more about setting up for the next book Acheron. I liked Xypher and Simone, but I never really feel in love with the couple like I have for so many others in this series. I also think that part of the reason that I was not totally into this book was because I was in the middle of moving and packed it by accident. I found it two weeks later, but it was not the same.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised:) And I Loved it!!!! This is the first book I have read by Sherrilyn Kenyon and I was really surprised buy how much I loved the story. I was captivated by the characters in this book from the very beginning and am now curious to find out what happens with Xypher, Simone and Jaden. The story was never boring and kept me reading all night. Can't wait to read another one of Kenyon's books.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A+ If you had one month away from hell and the torturing, how would you spend it? Xypher has one month to get his revenge, and nothing is going to stop him. Or so he thinks....Simone who is a medical examiner and who can communicate and see ghosts gets bound to Xypher and they both hate. Trying to stay alive is the easy part, the feelings they start to have for each other....that's the hard part. Great story and characters!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amusing This book was amusing. I like being amused. I'm reading this serise less for the romance, but more for the plot twists and humour.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Redemption With Upon the Midnight Clear being a bit disappointing, opening this one was a bit nerve-wracking. I didn't know what to expect. Then I read the prolouge and my fears dissapated. Just the first few paragraphs were already amazing and I was instantly hooked. New everything...new characters, new concepts and the beginning of a new arc. I suppose every author will have their downs before coming back up to the top again. I really enjoyed this book. It put my faith back in my Dark Hunters and the Author Goddess that created them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Read Dream Chaser like all her other books is an action packed page turner till the very end. The story line has amazing twists and turns, the main characters are witty and sexy as usual. For a woman who has wrote around twenty three novels in this series she continues to amaze me with the fresh and new ideas she comes up with every time, her books never get boring for me and you never feel as though your reading the same story as the one before. For a fresh and sexy read every time I recommend a Sherrilyn Kenyon novel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another must read by Kenyon! This is another great story by Sherrilyn Kenyon that has everything a reader wants; hate, betrayal, revenge, love, redemption and a really hot, sexy hero that would die for his girl. Xypher reminded me alot of Zarek and I was cheering for him the whole book long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kenyon sure knows how to write 'em! Again, the characters are far from simple, and again manage to put their pasts behind them. But no matter how similar they are, they're very different in the same way. She throws a plot mixed in with good guys you grow to care about, bad guys you'd love to pulverize, and a love so profound, you ache right along with the characters. She has a way with words that makes you feel what the characters feel, captures you right from the first sentence and refuses to let go until you finish the last word in the last chapter. Once again, I was swept away by the love between the main characters, angry right along with them, fought right along with them, and balled my head off. I dearly hope that Kenyon never stops writing. LOL, I'll end up in withdrawal! I also read the excerpt of Ash's book. I won't get into it, for fear I'll say something that someone will get upset at me for because they haven't read it yet and I don't want to spoil it for them. Suffice to say that, when Ash's book comes out, I'll be the first in line right by the door before the store even opens! That's a guaranty!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW!!!! I purchased this book yesterday, before its official release date, and finally had to put it down when it got too late to sleep and still make it to work this morning. What a tortured soul the main character is! But he is my type of hero. The heroine suits him to a "T" or an "X" in this case. Kenyon fans will not be disappointed, many of the Dark Hunter/Dream Hunter/Daimon characters make appearances in this book and the plotline flows. This may be the best one yet. Sherrilyn keep up the good work!!
