Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another 5th Edition hit Being a long time player of the game it's nice to see that Wizards of the Coast has finally fixed their blunders with the game. I was not a fan of 3.5 and 4th edition was just terrible. The new 5th edition has much more of the same feeling that 1st Edition had. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much guidance was provided for creating your own campaign settings. Really gives great ideas for people new to the game. A must have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a little pricey but good I got this book because I am new to dungeons and dragons, not as useful as the player's handbook thus far, but expect this to be much more useful if I ever start to DM. This book has quite a bit of information and seems like will be a helpful guide in world building.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for New DMs As someone new to Dungeon Mastering, this book has been very helpful. It has a lot of great tips for how to run D&D. It also has a big list of magic items, tables to help you quickly create NPCs, variants for the game, help on creating your own world and some other things I am forgetting. If you are looking to DM you do not need this book, but it is certainly a big help.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from lots of storytelling inspiration this is probably the least necessary of the three core rulebooks for 5th edition dnd. the players handbook and monster manual are more valuable. nonetheless, this dungeon master's guide is full of great ideas for crafting worlds and plots for your players to enjoy. a large list of magic items is one of the highlights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must-have for GMs Not only is this book jam-packed with inspirational random tables (useful in-game or between sessions) it has lots of great alternate rules so that GMs can customise their campaign to suit their preferred play styles. I find that the options presented in this book offer a great deal and I recommend it to anyone planning to seriously run a campaign in 5e. Bonus: it's just fun to browse this book casually as well.

Lots of great tables to use and ideas on how to up your game as a DM. Great price on Indigo as well. Highly recommended especially if you have enjoyed the starter set and are looking for more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Making up for 4th Ed After the horrid creation by Wizards of the 4th edition, I was skeptical to go back or stick with Pathfinder. Yet I did give them one more try, and very happy I did. Partly due to the Sword Coast game that came out, and curiosity. This time they are actively listening to players, and even giving out samples of next projects to get player feed back, and suggestions. Yeah they knew they hand screwed up with the MMO centric 4th edition. Try the starter kits if you need to or even an online starter...and if you are like me, and despite DMing online (Fantasy Grounds, now official 5th ed licence) I love to still have the books, and buying online here is cheaper than most comic book stores.
