about

Bill Carlson was a simple accountant. Now he is serving a life sentence in prison, where he meets Kate Miller through her church. Kate’s life had been marred with tragedies and mishaps before she met Bill, but after she meets him, attempts are made on her life and the lives of those she cares for the most. When Kate and Bill get married, Kate meets some interesting people and endures many trials, which she turns to God to help her through.

Through her difficulties, Kate makes some lasting relationships and helps forge new beginnings for several people. She learns that if you remain faithful, God will answer prayers—but in His time, not ours.

Human endurance has few bounds, and things will generally work out for the best if you are faithful and patient. One person can influence many lives, even if they aren’t there to see it through. Crime doesn’t pay, and faith in God conquers all. When Kate finally sees the wisdom and power of God, maybe she will gain everything that she has sought her entire life.
