Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you love Earls...buy the book (obvious right?) Its refreshing to see a restaurant reveal the secrets of their most delicious meals, and trust me the top features are included. I was concerned it would be all B choice menu options, but I found all my favorites. Do I feel sneaky knowing I know HOW to make these meals? Yes. Do I feel confident I can duplicate them to that level? Ha, no. But I think if you have a favorite meal from Earls its definitely worth your time to hone your skills and try to master the recipe!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's an okay book. I made two recipes from this book and they turned out being okay recipes - the fettucine and terriyaki chicken. I've found better recipes on the internet. I bought this so I could have the Santa fe Chicken Salad Chicken. Definitely one of my favourite meals ever, so I am glad I have the recipe to enjoy at home now!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good I was really hoping this book would have the coleslaw recipe, but alas... it was not there. There are some good recipes but just like eating at earls... there are plates that just dont appeal to us, while others are just wonderful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eating My Way Back in Time Earl's is a restaurant from my young adult years as a university student and I've had so many fond memories of not just of the food, but of the company of friends sharing meals together. I loved re-creating the food, and hosting Earl's theme nights at my home where my friends delighted in re-living their favourites. I've purchased copies to give to my friends and family, because this book evokes so many memories for so many people. Even my son, who is now 20, recalls the first time he ate at Earl's at age 5, when his father and I divorced and we would go to Earl's to have a little dinner on our own. He remembers how thoughtful the staff were when I couldn't hold back my tears of sorrow and they tried to cheer us up. My son still loves Earl's and is eager to cook the recipes himself!
