Rated 2 out of 5 by from kind of disappointing This was very confusing and had way too many new subplots. The focus should be on death yet he wasn't the main focus in this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top notch The second volume starts to stitch things together but it can still feel a bit disjointed (speaking as someone who is much further along). If you're enjoying the series at all so far then keep going, it's a fantastic series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great The more you learn about the world the more compelling the series becomes. Beautiful art too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Getting better The story was easier to follow and understand than in the previous volume. There's still a ton of threads going on at once but the pacing is good and the story moves along decently. The story is so grandiose that you'll be curious as to where this all ends up.
