about

A single mom and tortured rockstar find common ground in Scarlett Cole's Elliott Redeemed, the second standalone romance about the band Preload.

Elliott “Pyro” Dawson burns up the lead guitar like a legend. But the nickname Pyro isn’t just a clever play on words. It’s much darker. A past he's fought like hell to overcome.

Grocery store cashier Kendalee Walker is at her wits end and homeless. She's watched her fourteen-year-old son, Daniel, go so far off the rails, he can no longer see the tracks.

When the two are brought together, attraction flares, but the life of a badass rockstar couldn’t be more different than that of a struggling mom. Can Elliott find the family he never had with the sexy woman and her son, or will he fall back on dangerous habits?

Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely loved Elliott! Definite must read! This is more than the story of two people meeting and falling in love. This is the story of three individuals who are each broken in their own ways, each floundering to keep the fissures in their souls hidden from the world. Elliott Redeemed is filled with so much depth and emotion I felt myself being transported into the very center of these characters lives. Kendalee and Elliott’s relationship was absolutely beautiful. I smiled, I laughed, I sighed and I swooned. However, Daniel, Kendalee’s son, and Elliott’s relationship can only be described as inspiring. It moved me to tears. Heartbroken tears, grief stricken tears, and then finally the cleansing tears of healing. I won’t go into detail about the storyline. I felt the blurb did this book justice while allowing these characters’ stories to unfold naturally and I was glad I did not have more going into it. This was a spectacular read and if you don’t mind some angst with your romance, growth in your characters, adult responses to life situations, and a touch of humor to offset it all, this is the perfect book for you.
