EXCERPT As she sat there pondering the situation, a chill ran up her spine. At that moment, she was sure that someone was watching her intently. Glancing over at the windows and then back to the sliding glass doors, she couldn't see anything out of the ordinary, but the feeling remained. Stephanie was frightened; more frightened than she had ever been. Then she remembered that Detective Morrison had given her his card. She would call him. After all, she had found him attractive and wasn't averse to seeing him again. He did say to call him if she thought of anything. Maybe she would tell him about her strange gifts.
