A steamy debut about a love off limits, and lines destined to be crossed—with the wit of John Green and the heart of Sarah Dessen.
Tom Drummond is the perfect guy. He reads the classics. He tells the wittiest jokes. Best of all, he actually likes Charlie. And for a girl used to being caught in the shadow of her best friend, Drummond’s spotlight warms Charlie in a way she never thought possible. But as their relationship grows closer, there’s one detail that remains impossible to forget: Mr. Drummond is her teacher.
“Jessica Alcott’s writing is like a very personal glimpse into your own adolescent diary. Raw, uncomfortable, but still often hilarious.” –Harried Reuter Hapgood, author of The Square Root of Summer
“The witty repartee among characters is reminiscent of the dialogue in John Green’s novels or a Gilmore Girls episode.” –School Library Journal
“Perfect for fans of Sarah Dessen.” –Booklist

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well done This is the first time I've read a novel that touched on this kind of theme, and I really enjoyed it. My only complaints would be that I found the main character to be a little too immature for my liking and I found it all to be a little anticlimactic.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Read The main character is a bit annoying, but a good read. Some really exciting, intriguing parts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A journey I bought this because the main character and I have the same name and it peaked my interest and I'm so glad I did! This book really takes you on a journey. You feel so a part of the story and by the end of it you feel like you've grown as a person. I really feel in love with the characters and felt like i could relate to them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good I liked this book, but I found it just took way to long to get to the climax. The ending also was not the greatest in my opinion

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Different from the average YA novel I found this book to be intriguing since it explores a different plot line than the average Young Adult novel a page turner for sure !
