Jennifer L. Armentrout (also known as J. Lynn), New York Times bestselling author of the Wait for You saga, delivers a new novel of first love, second chances, and scorching chemistry.

Eleven months ago, bartender and weird-shirt-wearing extraordinaire Roxy and Officer Reece Anders had a one night stand. Well, kind of. She's been in love with him since she was fifteen, and he wishes that night they shared never happened. She's sworn him off forever, but the past and future collide, forcing her to rely on the one man who broke her heart not once, but twice.

Her best friend since birth has been in a long-term care facility since he became a victim of a hate crime years ago, and the person who put him in there is out of prison and wanting to make amends with him and Roxy. She's not sure she has room for forgiveness in her and when she begins to receive frightening messages and is on the receiving end of escalating violence, she thinks she knows who is to blame. The man who already destroyed one life already.

But Reece isn't convinced. The threats are too personal, and even if Roxy doesn't believe him, he's not willing to let anyone hurt her. Including himself. He's already messed up more than once when it comes to Roxy and he's not going to let history repeat itself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fall With Me is another perfect example of why JLA is my absolute favourite author of all time. Fall With Me is another perfect example of why JLA is my absolute favourite author of all time. She knows how to connect her characters to her audience and in a way that is so natural it’s unbelievable. Each time a new installment in this series comes out I rush to Chapters and get mad excited when I see it on the shelf. I’m talking giddy, paired with screeching noises that make whoever I’m with pretend they aren’t with me. I can’t help it. I know what it’s going to feel like to delve back into that world to revisit characters from the previous books, and to meet our new power couple. In this case we get the story of Roxy, the bartender we met back in Stay With Me who is harboring the guilt from an attack on her best friend Charlie that left him in a long-term care facility, and Reece, the guys she’s been in love with forever. He has his own guilt, having severed overseas to coming home to become a police officer, he’s seen a lot. And he knows he wants Roxy. These two characters play off of each other so smoothly they either had me laughing or crying during most of the scenes. It might be hard to believe, but the story is about more than just the two of them. Roxy’s relationship with her BFF Charlie is so important to her character and who she is, and as tragic as his part of the story is, it worked. And it was tragic. That flashback had me in tears. Not only is this book about romance, but the level of suspense added by the serial stalker and all around creepy ass guy kept me on my toes the whole time, just waiting for the moment when he was going to strike. He was a fairly passive-aggressive stalker for the majority of the story, until BAM! Even though I caught on to who it probably was, JLA has this way of making me question and suspect just about everyone. There were several conflicts that came up, but they were worked through by Roxy and Reece in such a way that it made it super easy to root for them. I could see how good they were for each other and they both deserved it so damn much. JLA just has this way about her writing. It’s completely unique and I’ve quite honestly become addicted to it. I don’t think there will ever be one of her books that I don’t devour and love to pieces. She’s my go-to author because of her writing – I know I will never be disappointed, and that’s pretty amazing. I gave Fall With Me five stars (it deserves FAR more) and would recommend it to anyone who has read and enjoyed ANY other JLA book ever, or fans of intense, epic love between two people with a suspenseful plot that keeps your heart racing the entire time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Review from This is the Story of My(Reading) Life Why yes I did read 3 JLA books this week. I actually read this one on my birthday. So that was perfect. I was excited to get Roxy's story. She seemed like this artistic, spunky girl in the last book. And she totally was. She's trying to come to terms with her past and learning not to take fault. She's also got a stalker. Reece is definitely a hot cop. Although they aren't my favourite couple of JLA's I really appreciate how mature JLA has started to make her guys. As with all romance books there's a falling out. But with Reece there's no BS. He doesn't sulk. He talks things out. Tells Roxy how he's feeling, what he wants and makes compromises. I really loved that there was no stupid unnecessary secret keeping or lack of communication. YAY for grown up relationships!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from When the boom just doesn't mesh I'm not really sure how I felt about this book. It's alright I guess but the story was seriously lacking something that I can't pin point. Also all the sexy scenes get a bit much when you are constantly going from that to thriller and back again. The book gave away the culprit and how the crimes were accomplished if you ask me. Would have loved to see more dimensions to all the characters as well

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pure Addiction!! Fall with Me is another great read that Jennifer L. Armentrout has all her fans falling in love with! I will read any book she writes because this one was addicting! I am definitely a JLA addict because you can never read enough of her books or own them! Fall with Me is the fourth book in the Wait for You series and I recommend you read them all because we get to see Roxy and Reese's story. I already had a good feeling. It was also great to see all my favorite past characters again in this book!! What I like most about this series is how you can connect with the characters so easily and laugh with them! Roxy our main character is a bartender at Mona's (Stay With Me- where we got her introduction) and see the tension between her and Reese. Roxy has been in love with him since she was fifteen years old, but is not ready to be hurt. When something happens between them a year ago she starts to run away from him. Reese is one hot cop! Right from the beginning you can feel the romantic tension that you are rooting for them to get together!! Roxy also has to deal with the past with her childhood best friend, also with the twist of a criminal who is after women. The characters in the book were strong and real. Roxy was independent, a great worker, friend and a daughter. Everything about this book made me happy! It was steamy and the chemistry between the characters has to be one of my favorites of this series. Jennifer L. Armentrout is a brilliant writer who knows how to make her readers addicted to her books! If you have read the rest of the series then read this book immediately. I am excited to see what the next book will bring!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 4.5 stars; Roxy rules! I always thought being in Roxy's head would be a hoot, partially because of the awesome printed t-shirts she was always wore and the fact avoiding Reece or cursing at him is how she dealt with him. There was something there between them and I picked up on it in Stay With Me. I had no idea they'd had a moment in her seeming unrequited six year crush on him. I also had no idea her quips and smiles at the bar were hiding something so painful. Roxy was easy to like. She's feisty, smart, and talented. She loves deeply as is seen by her devotion and dedication to visit Charlie, her childhood best friend. The circumstances behind Charlie's current state were heartbreaking for everyone involved and painful to contemplate. I loved how the matter was treated and portrayed. The message that a simple act can have lasting consequences is one lesson that can be learned from this story, while another is how anger and hate never lead to peace and resolution. I understood Roxy's anger at what happened to Charlie and the fact Henry was out and free. Reece was easy to like too. He cared for Roxy, and her putting him off or cursing at him bothered him, especially since he didn't know why she was behaving in the manner she was. I liked how Reece forced her to deal with it head on once he'd had enough of waiting for her to tell him. Besides Reece, it was great to meet his family members and then some of Roxy's too. If I thought Roxy was a hoot, her mama was that times 10. I was also pleasantly surprised by the change in Nate in this book. He's really coming out of his shell. I also liked seeing characters from previous books doing well in this book. I dearly love the friends to lovers trope, but it wasn't able to make up for the romantic suspense aspect. It's not that it wasn't written well, it was, but I felt it was a little too predictable and I do love my plot twists. Over all the book was very enjoyable. The connection Roxy and Reece had was easy to pick up on and it was hot! I'm looking forward to reading more in this series and having my socks blown off. Another great story told and another hot guy from the group has been netted!
