Rated 5 out of 5 by from Honest, helpful book about Marriage Finally I've found an excellent book that applies sound Biblical advice and reality to the area of dating, courtship and marriage. The authors, Bill & Lynne Hybels, are quite friendly and are able to laugh at themselves from time to time. Their personal experiences are shared regarding marriages ups and downs. The book devotes extensive discussion on the topics of how to courts spouses creatively, extensive practical advice for singles, realistic and honest examples, information about family background and handling different temperaments, helps on weaknesses, discerning unhealthy behaviours and resolving conflicts respectfully and lovingly. A discussion guide is very carefully written for both singles, groups, and couples to read through and ponder. Should be included in every wedding shower gift!
