Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Historically interesting, but Flashman spends a great deal of time just observing and narrating. I think Macdonald Fraser couldn't think of how to fit poor Flashy into the action and so he was reduced to the role of reporter. Not Flashman's most rollicking adventure, but still a good read.
