about

Madison Faber is a brilliant American psychology graduate studying at a prestigious London college. At 8.30 this morning she discovered her friend lying in a pool of blood.

Two hours later she's in police custody being questioned for murder. Although traumatized and terrified, Madison is not alone. She has Special Agent Ingrid Skyberg at her side.

Agent Skyberg works the criminal division of the US embassy in London. It’s her job to rescue American citizens when they get into trouble. Unfortunately for Madison Faber, a murder charge is just the start of her problems.

Afraid the killer is now targeting her, Madison persuades Agent Skyberg to hunt him down before he strikes again.

But Ingrid is new to the embassy and fighting battles of her own. When she starts digging at Madison’s college, she uncovers a sinister group operating out of the psychology department. But the local cops won’t take Ingrid’s discoveries seriously, forcing her to continue her maverick investigations in secret.

Up against the clock, and disobeying strict FBI protocols, Ingrid’s obsession to bring the killer to justice forces her to take matters far beyond the law. So far she may never get back.

Fresh Doubt is the second in a series of thrillers featuring a new FBI heroine.

If you liked Clarice Starling or had a soft spot for Dana Scully, you’ll absolutely love Ingrid Skyberg.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fresh Doubt One of the best mysteries that I have read in a long time. I rarely give a 5 star review, but this is definitely deserves it. Everything was well done. The only thing that was a teensy bit annoying was the repeated references to Ingrid's injuries. But it was a grand book. Shall definitely read more of her mysteries.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A GREAT READ This is the first book I have read by Eva Hudson but I have now downloaded her second book. Fresh Doubt was a great read though at times a little frustrating ( in a good way). Ingrid is sucked in by someone she thinks of as a victim when all along she isn't and all you want to do is for her to be found out and bought to justice. Kept me interested from start to end.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fresh Doubt A FBI agent in London who does not believe in taking things as they appear to be, but continues to dig for the truth. Not much is as it first seems in this thriller featuring Agent Skyberg and her interactions with London's finest as she continues to dig for the truth about the death of an American student.
