Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hard to read some parts but great info It is difficult to read this book because the information is printed in black ink on medium grey coloured pages. This is very hard on the eyes. There is a lot of good information, but also some mis-information depending on whether you are familiar with your digestive system or not. So far I have read half the book and find it interesting. Still waiting to see what kind of a meal plan I can get started on as I am vegan, wheat and milk intolerant and so far have not seen any menu that includes food that I can eat since they start by telling you not to eat fruit not specific enough on which are good and which are not. The 4 day fix is not possible for me because of the meat. Do go to the back (Page 122) for alternative meal plans and read the paleo recipes (126) which are much easier to read due to different colour backgrounds. I have to avoid seafood so looked for recipes that did not contain any meat or seafood. Eggs are allowed in vegan and Diabetic recipes, especially poached or soft boiled. I do occasionally allow myself to eat a meat dish, but very rarely so those recipes will not go to waist/waste. I particularly enjoyed the section about the types of sugars/sweeteners available and which ones are bad/good/etc. Still looking for an alternative to Honey as it causes much pain. Anything that goes through a Bee does this. But without bees we would not have great plants to eat. Also great information regarding the right exercises and how to do them properly. Add to this any good Therapeutic Yoga, gentle stretch and release and low impact cardio (especially for the elderly) and it is a good reference book.
