Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing If you suffer from anxiety or depression and approach your mental illness with humour, this book is made for you. One second youll be laughing at Jenny's hilarious stories and then she'll hit you so hard with a single line that puts your own illness into the words you could never form. An absolutely incredible book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you suffer from anxiety, you'll want Jenny Lawson to be your new best friend! I was reading this book during a break in a training course, for work. I was trying so hard to stifle my laugh that I ended up snorting. I just could not stop laughing! There were times I laughed so hard I couldn't breath, and times where I almost inked. The other individuals taking the course were looking at me funny, obviously wondering what I was reading, and where they could find it so they could read it themselves.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So glad I read this book!!!! Depression is such a touchy subject and I understand the feelings of shame that come hand in hand with it so I found this book so refreshing and helpful. It made me realize that I can laugh at the things that make me who I am and to embrace it. Just laugh at myself and accept myself. Thank you, Jenny Lawson, for writing about a subject that I have tried to avoid! I will be getting more copies for friends and family members so they can join me in these emotions and understanding...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Laugh, cry, laugh until you cry.... This book is wonderful. Her writing is blog-esque, the benefit of this is that you can put this book down and pick it up at any point and still know what is going on. There are several short 'stories' in her book and all of them laughable moments. She talks about her own mental illness in a way that highlights its "creative side" and deals with the monstrous side of mental illness with humour in a way that only Lawson can. Humour and mental illness can co-exist without offense when it comes from such a witty writer who writes from the heart. I laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed and bought 8 copies to give as gifts. Even after buying a copy and 8 books to give as gifts, I still bought the autographed copy. This book is THAT good.
