Gentle Julia is a gay and joyous story of a twenty-year old girl who is so gentle and too kind to turn any of her lovers down. They live in their own imagination with her love for them. The story is written by Booth Tarkington an American novelist and dramatist best known for his Pulitzer Prize-winning novels Alice Adams and The Magnificent Ambersons. He is one of only three novelists (the others being William Faulkner and John Updike) to win the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction more than once.
