Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Stephanie! I like the way this book is laid out. I love the ingredient spotlight sections, and that it's more than just recipes. I've tried a few recipes so far, one being the pasta dish from restaurant wars on her season of Top Chef... yum!! Some stuff is a little out there, so I do have to wait for some of the pickier eaters to be out of the house to try the recipes. Not exactly a go-to weeknight family meal cookbook, but definitely a great cookbook for people who love food, and are up for some unexpected combinations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A useful cookbook with some fun personal insights sprinkled in I would recommend this book just for the salad section alone! I remembered watched Stephanie on Top Chef about 10 years ago, and more recently on Iron Chef, and wasn't disappointed by this book. It's practical, and gives you some background information about Stephanie, her culinary history, how some of the recipes came to be, and options to customize the recipes. There is also a handy "Ingredient Spotlight" to showcase the versatility of a particular item, and demonstrate a few applications. Stephanie also includes suggestions for wine and beer pairings for the entrees. Even if you're not keen on alcohol with meals, it's helpful to have an explanation of what libations go with that foods and why- very helpful if you plan to have dinner parties. Great value for money here.
