Rated 1 out of 5 by from didn't like the book I bought the book over the hyp about the movie. I didn't watch the movie yet I always read the book 1st. Not a big fan of Ben Affleck and reading the book boy does he ever tie into the book. I didn't like this book a disappointment and utterly frustrating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Gone Girl does start off a bit slow, but don't give up! It's a great mystery, it's twisted, and it's unexpected. I couldn't put it down. One of the best books I've read recently.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gone Girl At first, it reads like a rehash of the Scott Peterson murder story. Then the twist start coming making the book hard to put down. If you like psychogical thrillers, then this is a good read!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good until it wasn't I liked the story until the ending which i found to be rather disapointing. I felt that the writer could have gone in a direction that would nicely wrap up the story and leave the reader satisfied. A sense of justice. But instead it ended abruptly and left me wondering what the point was. Other then that i found that the pace was rather nice and i liked the little twists through out the story.
