After reading Kilcommons Good Owners, Great Dogs, that point is made even clearer: an improperly trained human results in an improperly trained dog. Kilcommons -- a professional dog...

I am so happy! This book is easy to read and understand. It is very informative and straight to the point. You will not need any other dog book. This is the one. Trust me after reading many other books I have found the one that addresses every issue and it does not cost a lot of money. Save time and money, This is the book for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best dog training book I've recommended this one to every friend and acquaintance with a new dog. Now we're getting another dog, and rather than borrowing it again from the library, I'm finally buying my own copy. Straightforward, practical advice, easy to read, easy to follow. Dogs would be better off if more people read this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A top book!!!!! This is a very well written book. Not only is it very informative but it is a pleasure to read. It is one of the few reference books I have read that has kept me interested in learning more and more without being overly repetitive or boring. The techniques and general suggestions by the author not only teach you specific methods, they set an easily understood (although much harder to practice) tone which is encouraging. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in having a well behaved dog.
