about

A parody of the children's classic and a hilarious gift for anyone that finds modern life funny and absurd.

In a bright buzzing room, in the glow of the moon-and iPhones and Androids and Blackberries too-it is time to say goodnight...

Modern life is abuzz. There are huge LCD WiFi HD TVs and Facebook requests and thumbs tapping texts and new viral clips of cats doing flips. Wouldn't it be nice to say goodnight to all that? Like the rest of us who cannot resist just a few more scrolls and clicks, you may find yourself ready for bed while still clinging to your electronics long after dark. This book, which is made of paper, is a reminder for the child in all of us to power down at the end of the day. This hilarious parody not only pokes loving fun at the bygone quiet of the original classic, but also at our modern plugged-in lives. It will make you laugh, and it will also help you put yourself and your machines to sleep. Don't worry, though. Your gadgets will be waiting for you, fully charged, in the morning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved this take on a classic I read Goodnight Moon to my young kids but it's dated...this take on the classic is so scarily true but refreshing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! A wonderful parody of the original book I grew up on. I use this to teach with but also a classic view of how technology has made its way into one home and how one bunny is ready to get rid of it all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Clever If you grew up reading the original, you can appreciate this version too! My generation experienced the shift growing up where electronics were not essential to everyday life but when I became an adult, internet...smart phones...ipads...became everything to everyone. It's a clever nod to a classic children's book and cool to have as a momento but I don't recommend reading this to children, it'll only further enhance their need for electronics. Read them the original "Goodnight Moon"!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Modern life is so electronic This book is an absolutely great take off on Goodnight Moon, but it's not satirizing the original book, it's satirizing all of us who just can't put down our gadgets and pick up a book, and unwind, and go to sleep. Goodnight Moon gets millennial in this plugged-in parody … Milgrim mimes the original with perfect pitch, capturing us at our most technology-dependent.”
