The uptown girls are headed downtown as Serena and Jenny take on their new fabulous roles as rock-star model girlfriends of New York's hottest band, The Raves. Meanwhile, Dan is to busy drowning his sorrows in empty bottles to notice a mysterious French beauty who has a penchant for dirty, Jim Morrison-wannabe lead singers. Blair takes residence at the Plaza to think about her future. Will she become a gun-toting international spy or Manhattan's snobbiest society hostess? Decisions are so difficult! Sounds like everyone needs a day off at the spa. And Senior Spa Day promises to serve up further doses of scandal for New York's busiest private-school vixens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from you know you luv me----***gossip girl obv.***----- I LUV THIS BOOK!!!!!and all of the other books! Cecily Von Ziegesar is a remarkable and marvelous writer that she can write about any teen book and would still get a #1 New York Bestseller Novel. I read the gossip girls book from novel 1 to even novel 8. I believe these books can get addictive to your brain which happenend to me though. All the books are amazingly written and i rate a 5 of course. I was practicularly waiting until i found if Blair was going to York University or not. Very exciting. Well Done. I cant wait to read and explore the next one when it comes out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from gossip girl- engrossing and captivating I absolutely adore the Gossip Girl novels. They are addicting and I am never able to put them down. The world of high-class New York seems so far away, yet relatable to many of the characters. I cannot wait for each new situation to escalate and for old and new relationships to come together. Each book is filled with guilty pleasures and the reader becomes overwhelmed with the plot and characters. These novels are sure to hook you in and provide you with a little gossip for your day. I would strongly recommend these books to teens looking for a light read and a good laugh.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointment I heard alot of good things about these books and I mean A LOT!!! But when i read them they just seemed so unrealistic. I mean Blair's mother bought them all Islands but would've gotten mad if she had spent 3hundred and some $ on a pair of cashmere pants for her boy friend? It just doesn't make sence. And how did Serena get into all those schools after being booted out of boarding school and having little to no extra cirricular and no AP classes where as Blair got into 1..well 2 schools after being excepted to Yale from being wait listed, yet has all the collifacations. Even if she did screw up the yale interviews she could've threatened to tell the second guys wife that he was cheating on her if he didn't give her a good recomondation. And obviously B's mom would've had more than one guest room so all the moving around wouldn't have been real. I was strongly disappointed after reading these books after the good recomandations, they were okay but i am not goint to be spending my money on them. I'm just glad I only bought 2 of the 7 and borrowed the rest!!!

I kinda have an idea but i dont know it keeps changing and i really feel for Blair but i alsp feel for an Nate, becasue if anyone treated me like that i would dump them in a second!!! ok well i wish Nate were so totaly real and he would be mine all mine lol *ASHLEY*

Rated 4 out of 5 by from so-so I love the series, it's awesome. But in this book I was expecting a little more. Nothing really happened in this one. Except the whole thing with Blair and Nate. Which isn’t exactly an unpredictable plot point. I think what the next book needs is a huge twist, because the series is getting a little dull.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FAB-U-LUS!! Oh my God! Another AMAZING book from Von Ziegesar. I have read all of the books in the Gossip Girl series and for a while they were starting to slack off a bit, but not this one! You become so attatched to the characters in this series and it is very hard to forget them or what naughty things they have done. Nobody Does It Better is probably my favourite book in the series because we finally found out about Blair's acceptance to a certian university (which has been one of the main events since Gossip Girl started). And might I say.... THANK GOD IT TURNED OUT HOW IT DID!! Another highlight of Nobody Does It Better was Nate. Is he Serena's or Blair's? I still don't know who he belongs to, that's why I'm pulling out my hair in anticipation for the next Gossip Girl book!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST BOOKS ON THE UNIVERSE This book is a must read for every teenage girl out there. I am absoulutly in love with this series and the books just keep getting better and better. The only downside is that i wish they would show all of the characters faces. I really wanna see a picture of Nate! This book is tantalizing at the least. I cannot wait for the next one and am counting the days till Nothing Can Keep Us Toghether comes out. I am gonna be so depressed when the series ends. Compared to similar books like The Clique series and The A-List the Gossip Girl books are the best! So run out to chapters and buy book number 1 now and enjoy! You know you love me Cristina

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed Cecily von Ziegesar is a very talented writer, but even that didn’t save this book. When ranked amongst previous Gossip Girl novels, or the similar A-list series, Nobody Does It Better doesn’t make the grade. I get that these are shallow girls and guys, but after seven novels, some character development would have been appreciated. The writing is still just as good as it was in the first Gossip Girl novels. Unfortunately, the stories are becoming more and more disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT!!!! Another excellent read.... I couldn't put it down and read it in two days.... Finally the question has been answered... No, not the question about who Gossip Girl is.... Blair finally got in to Yale!!! Thank God. That part was starting to get REALLY annoying. Anyways... It's another great Gossip Girl book... Cheers!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gossip Girl Series I think these books are awsome. I'm like adddicted to them. They are so awsome and very well written.
Date published: 2005-06-03
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Same old thing... Honestly this book is well written, just as previous six have been. Creative, and very high class. However, how redundant can one series be? Will Nathan ever stay with Blair? and will Serena and Blair ever stay best friends? Is that the only thing that keeps these books going? Every book is the same thing, Blair gets angry at Nate, and Serena and Nate hook up, Blair gets angry at Serena and Nate. I couldn't even finish this book because it just got too boring, maybe when I started the series I was a little more immature, but really I think that the series just got old and old fast. If people like Blair and Serena actually exist I feel so sorry for them, because their lives have as much reality in it as Harry Potter's.
