Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute It's a cute book but my 13-month old won't sit through it! It's a bit long for a baby book, but great message. #plumreviews

Date published: 2018-05-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by from not terrible; didnt love it I know that this is a classic childrens books so I was excited to get it as a baby shower book. But the premise of the book bugs me a bit, love isn't a competition, and the sometimes the names are a bit much to say over and over. Its not terrible but I didn't love it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this book A classic that my son and I loved to read over and over. Beautiful illustrations too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have for child's library!! This book was one of my all time favourites as a child, and now is one of my favourites to give for baby showers or birthdays. The illustrations are beautiful and thr story line is beyond cute. I think every parent can relate to the love felt for their child. A great addition to your child's library.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute illustrations, but MEH! From a child's perspective, I'm sure it's great... but from a parent's perspective, this one is annoying to read. Why is the rabbit named "Little Nutbrown Hare" and "Big Nutbrown Hare". It's a tongue twister to read. Lots of words, when there doesn't need to be.
Date published: 2018-04-13
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a favourite The illustrations are beautiful, but the dialogue is long-winded and the names are a bit much. I don't like the premise of the book; love's not a competition.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A beautiful story I love reading this to my daughter. It’s a sweet story that I only hope my child won’t get tired of
Date published: 2018-04-09
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cute It's a cute story. Although I know it's supposed to be a classic, it's definitely not a favourite... in fact, I found it a little disappointing. I think the rabbits names are too long for this book to flow like it should. #plumreview

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I read this book to my baby boy almost every single night. He loves the story and the illustrations. He plays the part of Little Nutbrown Hare, mimicking his actions, as I play the part of Big Nutbrown Hare. Heartwarming and fun!

Editorial Reviews

He wrote it in 1994 but Sam McBratney's GUESS HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU is already a classic, celebrating, the Irish author told us, “that intimacy between a big one and a wee one.” We adore the new padded board book.
