Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Great side-by-side modern English version if you want to just understand the play's plot. It's a bit harder to focus on the Shakespearean English when they are side by side, so if you're looking for a novel with annotations and commentary for an analysis of the play, look for something else. This will help you understand the plot on a tip-of-the-iceberg scale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most Helpful Thing Ever! I bought this because we were studying Hamlet in grade 11, and I am glad I did. The explanations and side by side translations were very helpful. I had friends who would always ask for my copy but I stopped bringing it because they would also made notes in mine and I preferred to have my copy with my notes. Overall, I really do suggest this if you need help understanding Shakespeare like me.
