Rated 5 out of 5 by from A perfect american literary collection to start a baby's library. This collection is for ages 2 to 6. Goodnight Moon and Baby Says sparked my daughter's interest and then she grew into to the rest. Caps For Sale, Harold's Purple Crayon, George Shrinks and A Baby Sister For Frances have become big favorites. You may find yourself reading this heavy volume of twelve classics cover to cover before you know it! It is a big heavy book so cuddle up in the big bed! The literary notes and biographies at the end of each story are a nice touch with more clues for further reading. This book would also be a nice primer for anyone studying American children's literature or early childhood education.
