Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Choice I bought this box after reading all the books, and I have to say it's a great investment! When you start reading these books, you better buy them all at the same time, because you won't be able to put them down. JK Rowling created a magical world open to all. As you must know by now, the series follow the adventure of Harry Potter, a young wizard who must defeat Lord Voldemort who killed his parents when he was a baby, and he's help in his quest by his friends Ron and Hermione and by his teachers at Hogwarts School of Wizardry. The books are for all ages, but these covers are more for adults, a little less flashy than the ones from the children version, which is a good change. A perfect choice for the family!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely set, great value This box set is really lovely and is great for an adult reader or a young adult who may prefer the non-cartooned covers. I would note that these are more of a paperback sized book vs a traditional larger 'Trade Paper' edition that they're listed as.. The box they come in is nicely decorated and a great way to store the books. Can't beat the online price....$40 cheaper than buying it in store and I had mine within 7 days : )

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great collector box set I already had the 7 books in the edition for younger reader in french and I wanted to read them in english and decided to buy this box set with ''darker'' images on the cover. The box is beautiful but the images are a little ''boring'' to me. The biggest downside of it is that when you read the book the binding of the book gets really damaged quickly, making the books look old after only one read. I wouldn't re purchase this at full price for this reason, but it's overall a good choice to any fans who wants the whole collection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing series. I wanted to review the series as a whole instead of just one individual book. Though I have not yet finished the series, (i'm on HP and the Half-Blood Prince) I can say that each book is amazingly creative, witty, and gives us characters that we fall in love with over time. I found that the manner in which Harry was treated with his Auntie and Uncle, and Cousin, is touching, and really gives you an emotional connection with his character. I'm glad to see that the books are steadily getting darking, and even more edgy. The romances are cute, and love triangles are somewhat, but not too complex. Though there isn't so much romance that the series turns into a soap opera, but there's just enough that it makes Harry's life even more believable. JK Rowling has invented an entire world, containing a Government, places and landmarks, spells, different things (e.g.a Horcrux, A Portkey, Azkaban) it's amazing also, that she even created a sport, that is unique in it's own way, and is complex with many rules. It just amazes me how one woman could invent such a complex, and fascinating world. I simply cannot wait for the conclusion to the series, and I'm eating up every single book as quickly as possible. Even if you aren't a fan of hers, you cannot deny that she does have creativity, I mean there's an HP THEME PARK! These books are the definition of classic literature, If you haven't already read them, then I suggest that you do so NOW! before final films come out.
