The set arrived in just 2 days with FREE shipping! There was even parcel tracking included with the that free shipping! AMAZING! The set is immaculate, beautiful slip covers and underneath a perfect black hardcover with the author and title in gold along the spine! The picture shows a 6 book set.. however this set is definitely the full 7 books! .. AND did I mention that price??!! AMAZING! Keep it up Chapters!! Love shopping here!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great book, great company I understand the fustrate on with the books being more expensive instore than on-line. Lets be fair, in store, they worry about a little something called bills, rent, and labour cost. So, If you do not want the stores to shut down, be supportive and pay the full price. If you opt to purchase online, then quit the complaining. I don't work at a book store but I do understand business. I order all the time from here, and never had an issue. I love the constant offers that are sent to me catered to my personal taste, and order history. My and my children's book collection is ever growing. Harry potter is beautifully written, the collection is outstanding. This is a series the whole family can read :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection in a Box Note: the image used by Chapters shows the 1-6 set, while according to the ISBN, this is the 1-7 set. An error on their part. Here it is. All of it. All seven novels, together, in reading order: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows You get them in hardcover, and these are black UK editions... VERY nice looking. (note that the text itself is the same as other UK editions, so it's the same content, but in an attractive package). Truly for the reader who will keep these for years to come, and is very good with their stuff (and of course a fan of hardcovers) as this set is stunning. Anyone not familiar with Harry Potter, worry not for I will not spoil. It's about a boy who, upon turning 11, discovers he's a wizard and attends wizard school. Each book gets more detailed (and as a result, larger for the most part) and chronicles a year in Harry's life. So the series starts when he's just about turn 11, and the final books tarts when he's just about to turn 17. As a result, this is a coming of age story. With all the magic and wonderment, the heart and soul of the series is love, friendship, and the power of the human spirit, as good struggles to overcome. Love is more powerful than death. About the Author

J. K. (Joanne Kathleen) Rowling was born in Gloucestershire, U. K. on July 31, 1965. Rowling attended Tutshill Primary and then went on to Wyedean Comprehensive where she was made Head Girl in her final year. She received a degree in French from Exeter University. She later took some teaching classes at Moray House Teacher Training College and a teacher-training course in Manchester, England. This extensive education created a perfect foundation to spark the Harry Potter series that Rowling is renowned for. After college, Rowling moved to London to work for Amnesty International, where she researched human rights abuses in Francophone Africa, and worked as a bilingual secretary. In 1992, Rowling quit office work to move to Portugal and teach English as a Second Language. There she met and married her husband, a Portuguese TV journalist. But the marriage dissolved soon after the birth of their daughter. It was after her stint teaching in Portugal that Rowling began to write the premise for Harry Potter. She returned to Britain and settled in Edinburgh to be near her sister, and attempted to at least finish her book, before looking for another teaching job. Rowling was working as a French teacher when her book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was published in June of 1997 and was an overnight sensation. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone won the British Book Awards Children's Book of the Year, was shortlisted for the Guardian Fiction Award, and received a Commend
