For the Christian, these should be comforting, exciting thoughts. Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hope-filled and imaginative I was excited to read Joni Eareckson Tada's take on Heaven since she has a different reason (her paralysis) to look forward to it. I did find that she has thought a lot about it, and so many of her thoughts were inspiring. I love how she compared our life on earth to the tinkling sounds of the orchestra warming up, and Heaven to the actual symphony. However, I found the book a bit slanted towards hopeful imagination instead of grounded in specific biblical teaching. I don't think the book is un-biblical, but if you are looking for a detailed study of what the Bible has to say on Heaven, this book might not be as intense as you want it to be. If, however, you don't feel very excited about Heaven and want to be, this book is a good place to start.
