Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hello sky..... This book would be a perfect companion to a small child on her first airplane flight or even before, to prepare her for that exciting ride of her life high up in the sky. This book documents an airplane's journey from the time of liftoff to the time of touch down. It exhibits wonderful vocabulary words such as hello (airplane), over (trees, mountains and people), through (clouds) and above (birds) just to name a few. The book has a very happy and uplifting vibe and the illustrations are colourful, big and engaging, just a perfect match for the sparse text. Both are so kid- friendly and appealing to that specific age group. I highly recommend this book.
