about

***A man struggling to leave the battlefield behind, a woman powerful enough to help him all the way home. ***

Logan Stone should be happy. More than happy, in fact. He’s Sutton Capital’s newest executive, no longer a Navy SEAL in the line of fire, fighting for his country and his brothers-in-arms. Now he spends his days working side-by-side with Samantha Page, the sexy, brilliant woman of his dreams.

But Logan is fighting a different kind of battle; one no one realizes he’s in. While he’s focused on managing his PTSD, something much more sinister enters his world and he must battle to save Samantha’s life and their growing love.

When her life is threatened, he spirals downward. If he succumbs to the PTSD clawing at him, she’ll be left to fend for herself against threats neither of them could see coming.

Heartwarming romance meets heart-stopping suspense in the Sutton Capital Series. Her SEALed Fate is the seventh book in Lori Ryan's wildly popular Sutton Capital Series, but it can be read as a stand-alone book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Logan & Sam, my new fave couple at Sutton Capital It's hard to believe that this is the 7th book in the Sutton Capital Series; each one seems better than the last. The first book caught my eye during a book tour and I had such a good time with it that I have read the entire series! One of the things that I like most about these books is that although the series has explored some of the more popular romance tropes, such as the arranged marriage, friends to lovers, second chance at love, and even the bodyguard romance, each has been done in such a way that it feels fresh and new. In Her SEALed Fate, Logan is a newly discharged SEAL, who's friendship with Zack, (The Baker's Bodyguard) helped to land him a job at Sutton Capital. He is still dealing with some guilt from one of his final missions, as well as adjusting to civilian life. Samantha is head of IT as Sutton Capital. She has been instrumental in several key moments throughout the series. It was a joy to finally get to know the real Sam. Hint, she is even more awesome that I imagined. She's quirky, snarky, sassy and probably one of the smartest people in any room, though you would never know because she doesn't advertise the fact. Logan and Sam met during The Baker, the Bodyguard, and the Wedding Bell Blues, book 6. Their relationship grows slowly over time, getting to know each other, and taking their time. It's nice to have a couple actually have a base for their relationship before the action and danger start exploding around them. No false, "heat of the moment" for this couple. I think my favorite part of this book is that Logan and Sam each save each other multiple times. Not just physically, but emotionally. It created a nice balance in their relationship. Although this book is part of the series, if you haven't read the others, I think you would be okay reading this one as a stand alone. References are made to some events in prior books, but nothing that would detract from your enjoyment of this one. I had a great time with Logan and Sam and gave the book 5 stars. Special thanks to the author for the opportunity to read and review the book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this series I LOVE a long series of stand alone books that bring an entire cast of characters into great depth and light. I've read most of the Sutton Capitol books. missing I think two, but can still follow right along with book 7 and love Sam and Logan as much as I did Jack and Kelli from book one. Sam is a hacker genius who helped find Kelly and bring down a human trafficking ring in book one. She's quirky and says what she's thinking without realising it. you can't help but love her odd personality. it brings to mind a bit of Autism I see in several of my family members and just makes me want to know her. Logan is a veteran trying to adjust to civilian life. his dedication to no being "not okay" is inspiring. again he's a character you just want to know, thank and become friends with. The cast and crew of Sutton Capitol is slowly growing. Giving us more of a peek at each character as Jack and Kelli bring more life into the world, Chad and Jeannie enjoy wedded bliss and others come together to help solve who is "bugging" Sam. The book is full of drama, laughter and love making a very enjoyable read you don't want to end. on another note, it is very obvious Lori Ryan put a lot of time and research into this story. Learning some signs, symptoms and helpful treatments of PTSD. Bringing life to a serious condition harming many men and women today. whether it be veterans, police, fire, victims, etc. it helps shed light on how hard trauma, death and war can effect a person's brain and how caring and counseling can help these men and women cope with everyday life even if they never forget. Thank you for that and even if it opens one person's eyes I think you've done an amazing job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it!! The perfect mix of romance, suspense, humor, healing and friends. A page turner until the end, and then I even wanted more. Sam is a computer hacker working for Sutton Capital. Not seeing her own outward beauty. Logan is new to Sutton and will be working with Sam. There is an instant attraction but Logan is afraid to act upon it as he is dealing with his own demons of PTSD, as a former Navy Seal. When they to start to move forward in their relationship, there is another danger lurking, a threat to Sam's life. Loved the chemistry between these two kindered souls, and the healing that goes on between them. Great secondary characters. A wonderful story of healing from PTSD, and being able to move forward in life. I so enjoyed catching up with Sutton family. This book is part of a series, but can be read completely as a stand alone. A great character guide at the end of the book for all the Sutton Capital books.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Fantastic Read! Her SEALed Fate by Lori Ryan is a powerful romantic suspense that captured my heart and made me feel like few books can. I loved Sam and Logan's story. It's one of those books that will stay with me for a long time. Sam is a computer expert working for Sutton Capital. Although she is smart and thoughtful, she has no idea of her beauty and lacks self confidence outside of work. When Logan a former Navy SEAL joins Sutton Capital, he will be working closely with Sam. For both of them there is an instantaneous attraction, but Logan is not at a place in his life where he can even contemplate a relationship. Logan had a difficult childhood, and now suffering from PTSD after his SEAL life, he is working hard to over come this. He doesn't know if he'll ever feel ready or safe enough to be with anyone. Sam and Logan do become close though. Sam sees inside Logan, she likes what she sees, and she will be there for him. With a little push, Logan starts to slowly gain some footing in his life again and starts to feel good again. But an unexpected threat and danger to Sam threatens to take not only her away, but what Logan felt like he was finally moving on from. Danger brings out the best, and the worst...Can Sam find the source of danger and stop it or will it be too late for either of them? Sam and Logan are so good together. The chemistry between them is unmistakable, they are so good for each other in so many ways, and it felt like this is a couple who are just meant to be together. I liked how they were with each other. I liked how Sam was with Logan, how she understood and she pushed when she had to. She wasn't scared of him, she was scared for him. He meant enough that she would wait for him, even though to Sam he is already whole, she knows he's hurting and suffering. I loved Sam. She is a unique character who felt real to me (I can easily think of people in my life who might be like her). As much as Her SEALed Fate is a romantic suspense, it is just as much, if not more so about Logan. His past, his present, his future. Lori's research on Logan's character and PTSD is obvious and shines through, making Logan a believable man. The struggles he has gone through in the past, the struggles he goes through now tore at my heart. Seeing how he coped, what he did, how he tried to overcome was such an emotional, heart wrenching experience for me. I felt a lot of hope for Logan as he took this healing journey. The danger that he and Sam face is a lot for Logan and a possible relationship, and he tries to back away. I liked what Lori did here in the story, if possible she just made me feel even more. There is no quick, easy fix and she demonstrated well what was happening in Logan's head as well as for Sam. The suspenseful part of the plot is well done. I liked that as the reader I knew what was going on, but the characters obviously did not know! This gave the bit of edge that steals your breath at times. There is so much woven seamlessly into the plot of Her SEALed Fate and Lori brought it all vividly to life. She kept me turning the pages with a perfect pace. Nothing felt rushed, just right. Her SEALed Fate is very well written, easy to follow, and well researched. A cast of secondary characters who fit in well and are meant to be here at this time complement Logan and Sam's story expertly. I really liked Sam's family! I liked the family dynamics around Logan and his father and how this was explored. The Sutton's are a great group of people, people I'd happily have as friends. There was nothing I didn't like about Her SEALed Fate, and no review I write could do it justice. It was one of the best books I've read in a long time. Lori gives us it all in Her SEALed Fate...pain, healing, hope, humor, romance, just enough heat at the right time, danger, suspense, fear, love, and so much more. My heart felt so full of a mix of everything! Part of the Sutton Capital series, Her SEALed Fate can easily be read as a stand alone. I would highly recommend Her SEALed Fate to any reader who is looking for a fantastic book that will take you away then leave you feeling undone when it's all over. In the best possible way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this story I was gifted a copy by the author to advance read. This is an amazing story and by far my favorite of this series. I loved how the author approached the hero having issues with ajusting to being back in normal society afer being in the miltary for so long. The herione did a wonderful job of not making our hero feel bad cause he had issues. I loved how she researched how to help him deal with his issues. Will I will warn those that have PTSD to be aware there may be triggers in this book but it's so worth the read. I was aware and so didn't have any issues but could have it I hadnt know they were there. As both a Vet and a daughter of a vet I'm honored that the author donated so much of her profifts from this book to two awesome causes. The love story in this book will touch your heart and make you want to read the whole seires if you haven't read the other books. If you haven't read the other books don't worry you can read this one without reading them first, in fact I read the series in very strange order as I was late to it and was listening to the audio version for book 2 while I read reading the e version of book 3. Don't miss out on an amazing read grab this one and put in on your list of must reads if you love a good story like I do then this is a book you want
