Rated 4 out of 5 by from His Forbidden Princess His Forbidden Princess by Jeannie Moon is a second chance fairy tale romance that I loved! Eight years have passed since things ended abruptly and unexpectedly between Sofia and Ian. Now danger, threats, and an uncertain future bring them back together because it's Ian's job to protect Sofia. I really liked both of these characters. They are trying to keep the past behind them to focus on the present, but the feelings are still there...maybe even stronger. Because neither of them truly got over the other. Even with the royal aspect, I felt that Ian and Sofia are characters that are realistic, and the emotions they experience ones that are relatable. With international intrigue, suspense, and a love that's never been forgotten, His Forbidden Princess has an interesting plot and Jeannie's writing flows smoothly off the pages. I really enjoyed this plot and they dynamics of all of the characters. I found myself really hoping that Ian and Sofia could have their second chance, but can Ian fit into Sofia's world, however it ends up? I'd recommend His Forbidden Princess to any romance reader looking for a quick read that is easy to feel absorbed into!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Reunion Love Story A reunion love story between Sophia and Ian. They fell in love in college, but Sophia left out a minor detail to Ian, that she was a princess. Her family said that Ian was never good enough for their daughter. Fast forward, Sophia's life is in danger and Ian, FBI agent, has come to protect her. They go into hiding in remote New York. The chemistry between these two are still there. an they make it work this time? This is a novella but a packed full story, well developed characters. I love Jeannie Moon's writing style. This is book that I highly recommend. I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Wonderful second chance story!! Great writing makes this one so enjoyable. Even though it is a novella length story, the characters are well developed and the pace of the story is perfect. Excellent afternoon read. Eight years ago, Ian and Sophie were young, in college, and very much in love. Both their worlds are shattered when the startling fact that Sophie is in fact a princess and must return to her country is revealed. Neither has ever forgotten the other and when her life is in danger Ian knows he is the only one who can keep her safe. This is one highly recommend!!
