Over 700,000 hockey fans follow Bob McKenzie on Twitter and millions more on TSN-no one has the access or breadth and depth of experience when it comes to hockey.

Now in his very first book on the NHL, Bob goes behind the scenes, covering the inside stories, the lesser-known personalities and the events that shape Canada's game. He talks to Bobby Orr about Connor McDavid (touted as "the next Crosby"), reveals the actual stats that NHL coaches and scouts use, and explores what it's like to be Don Cherry's son. Entertaining, insightful and a damn good read, Hockey Confidential is a must for every hockey fan.

BOB MCKENZIEis most simply known to Canadians as TSN's "Hockey Insider." Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great work This book is not a classic "hockey" book. This book isn't about one player's story or one team, it's about life on the inside of the hockey world. These are stories about real life people in and around hockey and shows them in a light that makes them human. It's a fantastic read, very well written

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stories from the legendary Hockey Insider I don't read much but as a hockey lover I really enjoyed this book. The stories Bob told and the "insider" perspective of behind and beyond the game was a lot of fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hockey Confidential I really went into this book with no expectations in the beginning, and while it started off slow-rolling for my preference, the long-haul was most certainly worth it. Without having read Hockey Dad first, I felt like Bob McKenzie was reading these deeply personal stories about some of the game's most influential people to me, the way we hear him on TSN every day. Some of the chapters even surprised me with regards to their relevance to hockey, most of all the chapter dedicated to Gord Downie. I learned so much more about a few players who currently represent my favourite NHL team, the Montréal Canadiens - the pieces of their lives that tie together the puzzle that is who they are today. What a satisfying read, to say the least. I can't wait to (hopefully) devour more of what Bob McKenzie produces for us in the future. With his name behind the work, one can't be disappointed.
