Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it What can I say more than loved it! Great summer book, easy to read, light romantic story.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty good. The books I've read by this author so far I've loved and considering I heard this one was being made into a film I figured it must be a really good book.... It didn't grab me from the start, and admittedly the strong use of southern stereotypes got a bit annoying early on. It started to get better: The banter between Cole and Summer at the beginning was sexy and hilarious. I liked the view into the acting world and filming and scripts. It was very interesting for me! The romance parts were great and the sexual tension was perfect! However I didn't really connect with any of the characters. I am admittedly a bit uncertain in my rating. I wonder if this is a case of "it's not you it's me" and also my apparent reading slump. I feel like despite the things I didn't like about this book, there is a lot I normally would like in a story and a lot I did like. I look forward to seeing how the movie adaptation turns out.
