Rated 5 out of 5 by from INCREDIBLE BOOK I bought this as I'd watched the news coverage when the Blackwater personnel were murdered and hung off the bridge. I didn't realize there was more to the story. This book details what happened to the Navy seals who captured the terrorist who'd masterminded the murders. Three of the Seals were charged for prisoner abuse - this story is an unbelievable and often gripping story, which quite surprised me. It is horrible that these three Seals were humiliated and brought up on these charges by their own military and based on the word of an unhinged and incompetent junior service member and a terrorist. This book is well worth the read and quite thought provoking. I'm not American but my heart went out to the Seals. I recommend this read.

Editorial Reviews

"In this very important book, author Patrick Robinson shows how the culture of our military is imperiled by a high command that too frequently allows political correctness to trump honor and common sense.... I was shocked—as a Navy veteran and defense lawyer."—Ray V. Hartwell III, Washington Times"If you are looking for a strong read, this is a no-brainer."—Sacramento Book Review"Should be required reading for all military personnel today."—American Spectator“Written in an even–keeled, reportorial style, the book tells a story...that certainly needs to be told.... Guaranteed to raise eyebrows and spark debate.”—BooklistKirkus Reviews, 11/1/13“Robinson ably discusses the intricacies of military justiceCaptures the folly and resource drain of the Iraq WarShould appeal to conservative readers.”
