Charles Simeon published hundreds of sermons and outlines of sermons (called "sermon skeletons"). His chief work is a commentary on the whole Bible, entitled Horae homileticae. Charles Simeon is often hailed as something of an ancestor of the evangelical movement in the Church of England.  This expositional commentary, was originally a 21 volume set, but now here is in 7 volumes.  It’s a treasure-trove for experienced preachers, but it’s also a tremendous study aid for new ministers who are looking for training assistances.

Volume 1 Genesis to Deuteronomy
Volume 2 Joshua to Esther
Volume 3 Job to Song of Songs
Volume 4 Isaiah to Malachi
Volume 5 Matthew to John
Volume 6 Acts to Philippians
Volume 7 Colossians to Revelation

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I highly recommend these commentaries. I highly recommend these commentaries. I am amazed at how God has used Charles Simeon - 200 years later! Because most of these are "skeletons" they can be read in 10 to 15 minutes. I love reading them while eating my lunch. They are very readable, and extremely helpful in my Christian walk. Simeon is a master at applying the Bible to everyday life, and yet being careful not to take liberties with the Word in his applications. I bought all 7 volumes which includes over 2500 sermon skeletons on the entire Bible. My plan, when I complete them is to start over again, as they are a wonderful enhancement to my daily Bible reading. I know of no other Christian book (other than the Bible itself, of course) which has had such a positive impact on my walk with the Lord.
