Joe Hill's critically acclaimed, New York Times bestselling, Bram Stoker Award-winning debut chiller, Heart-Shaped Box, heralded the arrival of new royalty onto the dark fantasy scene. With Horns, he polishes his well-deserved crown. A twisted, terrifying new novel of psychological and supernatural suspense, Horns is a devilishly original triumph for the Ray Bradbury Fellowship recipient whose story collection, 20th Century Ghosts, was also honored with a Bram Stoker Award—and whose emotionally powerful and macabre work has been praised by the New York Times as, "wild, mesmerizing, perversely witty…a Valentine from hell."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hauntingly Lovely That's the only way I can describe this novel. Joe Hill has mastered the dark, poetic allure that positively enchants the reader. It holds the same threatening charm and suspense as one could expect from Bram Stoker's Dracula. Horns lures you in and before you know it, you're too enthralled to put it down! I absoluteky can't resist the contrast between the dark allure and the subtle undercurrent of innocence portrayed by the characters. Brilliantly written! I look forward to reading more by this author!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent little devil tale Good book & fast read. This was my first time reading Joe Hill and I enjoy his writing. I don't think he's there yet but with some time I think he'll evolve into something pretty grand. Story had some elements I could have done without and slowed it down a bit.. but overall I liked it
