Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal. I seriously cannot articulate how deeply I enjoyed this book. I was able to relate a lot to Merrin and Ig simply because I've dated & been around people like Lee my whole life, I fell in love with the characters, and Ig's love for Merrin especially. It's an amazing story. This book is/could definitely be disturbing to some readers, my only wish is that Joe should, maybe have added a couple trigger warnings, there's descriptive scenes of assault, and one bad rape scene. This book is definitely heavy, and full of emotion, there were a few passages in here that made me tear up, but Ig's witty sense of humor and all the theological references keep it light as often as possible.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from couldn't get through it I found it really disturbing - maybe I just wasn't in the right state of mind to read it but it just made me uncomfortable. Maybe got through a quarter or a third then I had to stop. The writing was okay, plot actually quite intriguing but I honestly found it too unsettling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't put it down It takes a lot for me to actually read a book through and I read Horns in 4 days. It was a great adventure filled with unexpected twists and a thrilling outcome. If you like these types of books, I highly recommend it.

Editorial Reviews

Horns is dark, twisted, even sometimes funny in a macabre way.”
