Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dan Abnett knocked it out of the park The first line of this novel really sets the whole Horus Heresy series in motion. It really connects you to the Mournival and Horus Lupercal, and prepares you for the trials and tribulations they are to experience in the future. Horus is such a charismatic and likeable character that this novel is almost upsetting to read. You want him to continue to be the same guy and everything to be all right. This of course wouldn't be called the Horus Heresy series if he never succumbed to chaos though.
