Rated 5 out of 5 by from engaging marvel story Comic books have seen plenty of misfires in the start of the 21st century even as superhero movies continue to flourish. “House of M” was a nice surprise, blending an interesting plot with fine character development and some exciting battle scenes. Brian Michael Bendis does an excellent job in plotting out this collection of comics while the art team, led by Olivier Coipel, performs very well. This is an engaging and moving story and, if the results have been scrubbed and washed over in recent years, this remains a fun and interesting collection of comics. Highly recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mutants won! Good alternate world tale. What if mutants had won and are actually superior? Interesting premise and good execution. Makes me want to see more of the world to see alternate takes on favorite characters. Very interesting read

Rated 4 out of 5 by from epicness The twists were great even though certain elements were a bit vague. I liked how Wolverine played big role in this, it kind of reminded me of the movie, X-men : Days of Future Past where Wolverine went back in time. The sibling relationship between Pietro aka Quicksilver and Wanda was so emotional.... and that ending was just ..? like whatttt

Rated 4 out of 5 by from astonishing fun Say what you want about Brian Michael Bendis, lots of people will, but 1) he writes some of the most entertaining Spiderman dialogue around, and 2) he's gone and put some of my favourite superheroes in the New Avengers. House of M is a universe-changing Marvel event, at least until Mark Millar's "Civil War" rocks the universe some more in the summer of 2006. This book brings two very cool teams together in the Avengers and the Astonishing X-Men, and possibly most important of all, has to be read first for any of the other titles in the House of M alternate reality serires to make any sense.
