Rated 5 out of 5 by from Opens your eyes about Pot Limit Omaha Hi I started playing Pot Limit Omaha Hi seriously after cashing in a mixed poker game (H.O.S.E.) and some very real success in Holdem. I read a couple of books on PL Omaha and has so-so results. I ordered Stewart Reuben's book "How Good is Your Pot Limit Omaha?" to round out my library and hoped to extract a few good nuggets of information. Instead I hit the Mother Lode: this book is solid gold. Written in a workbook style, you have to answer tough questions and you actually sweat Stewart Reuben (poker-speak for looking over his shoulder while he is playing) in a number of tough games from real play, with serious decisions. Early in the book Sterwart writes something that freed my PL Omaha hand selection of the shackles other books put on readers. That phrase is "My hand is mediocre. However, I would die of boredom if I did not play a large number of hands." Stewart Reuben is a well-known, high limit Omaha player and has written an astonishing book that, in my case, has increased my PL Omaha earnings to new levels that to most people is serious money. Easily the best book on Omaha I have read to date.
